New Additions to Westgate Hotel

At my recent stay in the Westgate Hotel in Myrtle Beach I noticed that the hotel is undergoing some major changes. The resort is building and addition right next to the one that is already available and will be open some time next year. This addition will add over one hundred new rooms and also will be including a new pool for the guests.

This addition is only one of the several phases that will be undergone in the near future. The resort will be totally changed and a new larger, more efficient Westgate Hotel will emerge with new pools and recreational facilities for added enjoyment. In my last stay over the 4th of july holiday they had daily festivities all over the grounds including pool activities and a DJ with live music. The Hotel also offers many discounts to attractions around the Myrtle Beach Area including, resturants, concierge services and even free photo sessions for the entire family.

This added to the already great customer service and great rates on multiplies the enjoyment of your beach trip. Westgate has really gone the extra mile in making sure your stay is as good as possible and when the new additions are finished it will be one of the most sought after hotels on the entire Grand Strand. It is TRULY! the complete vacation destination in Myrtle Beach.

Westgate Hotel in Myrtle Beach

Recently I had the privledge of taking a week long vacation at Myrtle Beach, and stayed at the Westgate Hotel. It was located right next to the beach on south Ocean blvd, "the strip" as some people call it, and was also close to the long pier. This was one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in compared to the reasonable price I had to pay.

The hotel was located right next to the Family Kingdom waterpark and was just a few blocks from the Pavilion which has several rides, attractions, and games to play. The owners of the facility were very courtieous and friendly. Our second floor, oceanfront room was very clean and tidy, and provided a wonderful view of the ocean which made our stay very enjoyable. The hotel had several amenities such as, an outdoor pool and childrens waterpark. It also had a resturant, bar, and fitness center that was located on the first floor.

The Westgate Hotel was located just walking distance from many of the shops and resturants that are located on the main part of ocean blvd which as I mentioned was called "The Strip".
It was also only two miles from the family amusement park, Broadway at the Beach, which has tons of attractions for all members of the family including shops, resturants, and live shows daily.

All of these factors combined to form one of the best beach vacations I have ever had, and if you are looking for a great Myrtle Beach experience and are looking for a reasonably priced hotel than I strongly recommend visiting the Westgate Hotel.
